Write Here | Write Now | Speak Loud! host a Post-High School Resource Fair as an opportunity for young poets to explore ways of continuing their creative practices beyond high school involvement. The fair will include both ways of pursuing the arts in academia, and ways of incorporating and pursuing arts through social and community involvement. After the fair, vendors from the fair will sit on a panel to discuss the role of poetry and creative expression in their lives, and answer questions from festival participants. The Post-High School Fair schedule is as follows:

Welcome & Vendor Introductions 
  • 1:00-1:30pm: Post High School Resource Fair vendors will introduce themselves to teen participants.
Resource Fair
  • 1:30-3:00pm: Teens will have about an hour and a half to explore the fair and engage with different vendors. Vendors will be selling merchandise, promoting programs, and leading activities.
Panel Discussion and Q&A 
  • 3:00-4:00pm: Several fair vendors will sit on a panel to discuss their practices and affiliations more in depth. Teens will have the opportunity to ask questions in a group setting.

*Please Note: Adults (Ages 25+) are only allowed to attend the Post-High School Fair if they are accompanied by a Teen chaperone.
